Our 2025 kickoff event on Tuesday night was one for the books. Even my dad made it out for his first CENYC event!

If you were at our event Tuesday night, you already know what I'm about to announce.

But for everyone else, here's something I've been waiting to share:

Two years ago, Creator Economy NYC started in a Lower East Side bar with 15 people and zero long-term plans. A f*ck it, create it mentality.

Just a simple idea: create a space where the creator economy could truly come alive in NYC.

That small meetup has grown into a community of 6,000+ of us.

We've hosted sold-out events, sparked countless collaborations, and built something real in a world that often feels too digital.

But we’ve always dreamed bigger…

And today, I'm thrilled to introduce to you CONNECT — our first-ever, day-long conference, created with our friends at Teachable. 👇

If you've been to any of our events, you know we don't do industry BS.

No death by PowerPoint. No forced networking. No "thought leadership" panels that lead nowhere.

We're taking everything that works about our monthly event — real conversations, actual community building, practical knowledge sharing — and creating a full day of it.

This is a conference built by and for our diverse community of creators who want to build something real and something that lasts.

Why now? Why this?

If you've been part of Creator Economy NYC, you know we've always believed in the power of in-person connection (and good vibes). There are tons of conferences for the industry people… but what about the creators — us?

Something magical happens when creators share the same space — energy shifts, ideas collide, and possibilities multiply.

And let's be honest: in a world where we're all feeling a bit scattered across platforms and algorithms, we need this more than ever.

Why Teachable?

This partnership has a story, and like many great things in the creator economy, it started small.

Back in November 2023, we collaborated with Teachable on a one-off event. The energy was electric. The community feedback was incredible. So we did another event. And another.

Throughout 2024, these "let's try this" moments evolved into bigger collaborations. Each time, something clicked. The Teachable team just got it.

They understand what we've always believed: sustainable creator businesses aren't built on viral moments — they're built on genuine connections, real community, and education.

Now, we're taking this partnership to the next level for all of you.
